MASTERCLASS OVERVIEW
Delegates will learn key leadership skills and techniques so they can either apply them for their own personal development or effectively lead the implementation of a change or improvement programme. The course provides an in depth understanding in what drives human behaviour and performance and shows how you can pick up on key leading indicators before serious incidents occur, with a view to an overall goal achieving a reduction in workplace incident rates, the key trailing indicator.

Matthew Strong
Masterclass leaders
Matthew Strong is a Principal Consultant specialising in culture assessment, training, coaching and safety leadership development. He is credited with the mantra, “It must be safe to talk, before it can be truly safe” and for this reason likens culture assessment to the TV show, Undercover Boss. Prior to working with RyderMarsh OCAID, his background was in Civil Engineering, Management and Safety working in the utility and construction sectors.
Matthew currently works around the world on Cultural Safety® programmes. In particular he is the RyderMarsh OCAID lead on culture assessments and train the trainer programmes. Operating across a variety of industries he has a track record of embedding safety improvement teams, leadership development and associated processes.
Paul Bizzell
Paul Bizzell is Operations director of RyderMarsh OCAID Limited where he has the overall responsibility for the design & delivery of all the field implementations. He is also a Director of OCAID Wellbeing and responsible for the operational management of both companies., Paul also acts as a Principal Consultant specialising in Culture assessment, analysis & development, Management Systems and their improvement through people. He has a background in engineering, IT & telecoms and public sector service provision as well qualifications in Environmental Biology and Statistics. He is also an experienced auditor, assessor and incident investigator. Prior to joining RyderMarsh in 2002, initially to collaborate in IT systems support to Behavioural Safety, he ran his own Management Consultancy business which focussed on organisational development. He has experience with major projects in Oil & Gas, Utilities, Light & Heavy Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Road & Rail Transport, Food, Pharmaceuticals & Health.
